After President Michel Aoun reiterated an invitation to his Brazilian counterpart to come to Lebanon to affirm bilateral relations, Brazil's Foreign Minister Aloysio Nunes Ferreira Filho Tuesday suggested that the visit take place in November.Filho's comments came during a meeting with Aoun at Baabda Palace, where the two discussed what Aoun described as "historical" relations between Brazil and Lebanon, a statement from the presidential office reported. Aoun thanked Brazil for supporting Lebanon, especially in terms of assistance and training provided to the Lebanese Army.Aoun highlighted the importance of Brazil's participation in three upcoming international conferences, after Filho confirmed his country's participation Monday during a meeting with Bassil.
