Military Prosecutor Peter Germanos Thursday received the case against a former Internal Security Forces anti-cybercrime chief suspected of fabricating evidence against Ziad Itani, a judicial source said.Suzan Hajj Hobeiche and suspected hacker Elie Ghabash to Judge Hani Helmi al-Hajjar, a representative of the public prosecutor at the Military Tribunal.The case took a turn in recent days when Military Investigative Judge Riad Abu Ghaida requested that the ISF Information Branch investigate inconsistencies in the evidence and testimony against Itani.The investigation reportedly showed clear evidence that Hobeiche had hired a hacker, identified as Ghabash, to fabricate evidence implicating Itani.If Hajjar believes the evidence provided is sufficient, he will file charges against Hobeiche and Ghabash.
