The Future Movement Friday announced its list of Parliament candidates for the Beirut II district, as Prime Minister Saad Hariri described the electoral battle there as being between those protecting the city's identity and the list backed by Hezbollah.Another list backed by wealthy businessman Fouad Makhzoumi and a separate list spearheaded by Al-Liwaa newspaper editor-in-chief Salah Salam will be running against Hariri and the Hezbollah list.Hariri is expected to announce his party's electoral list in Akkar Saturday before spending the night in the north of the country and announcing Tripoli's list Sunday.Meanwhile, MP Alain Aoun tweeted that the electoral list backed by the Free Patriotic Movement, Hezbollah and the Amal Movement for Baabda was submitted.Separately, the Kataeb Party rejected reports claiming the party had reached electoral alliances with various individuals and groups.
