Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk and Public Works and Transport Minister Youssef Fenianos announced that a project to expand the Ain al-Mreisseh port would begin in the coming days.During the visit Saturday, Machnouk noted that the project would revive the shrinking number of fishing boats based at the Ain al-Mreisseh port to between 130 and 160 .As well as the Ain al-Mreisseh plan, there are other port projects in the works for a facility in south Lebanon's Naqoura as well as improvements at Tripoli's port.
