The final preparatory meeting ahead of the CEDRE economic conference for Lebanon next month predicted positive results, a Lebanese source who attended the gathering Monday in Paris told The Daily Star.The financial commitments were made for the Capital Investment Program that was the subject of the meeting.The CIP will be presented at the Paris conference on April 6 and aims to draw international support for Lebanon's economy and infrastructure, including water, energy and transport, among other sectors. The source added that other countries said they would announce commitments to the CIP on April 6 . The CEDRE conference is the second of three international meetings to help support Lebanon in the areas of security, economy and infrastructure, and the country's ability host around a million Syrian refugees.
