Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas asked President Michel Aoun for Lebanon's support in the Baltic country's bid for a non-permanent seat on the U.N. Security Council, according to a statement from the presidency.During a meeting at the Baabda Palace, Ratas gave Aoun a handwritten letter from Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid requesting Lebanon's support for her country to win non-permanent membership of the Security Council, for the years 2020-2021 . Aoun expressed Lebanon's keenness to strengthen the relations between the two countries, especially in the information sector due to Estonia's expertise in the field.
