Lebanese Army head Gen. Joseph Aoun Wednesday discussed Army cooperation and border security assistance with the ambassadors of the U.K. and U.S., two major donors to the military.U.S. Ambassador Elizabeth Richard and U.K. Ambassador Hugo Shorter met with Gen. Aoun before he headed a meeting for the High-Level Steering Committee tasked with supervising assistance programs from the two nations to boost border security in Lebanon.Aoun received Richard and Shorter at his office in Yarze to discuss bilateral relations, a Lebanese Army statement said.
