The comments by Aoun and Hariri come as Parliament is set to meet next week to elect a speaker, a deputy speaker and members of its secretariat following the May 6 elections.Aoun, who was elected in October 2016, was quoted as saying that the first government affiliated with his six-year tenure is the one to be formed after the parliamentary elections.The LF almost doubled its number of MPs in the elections and expects to convert those gains into more power in a new coalition government that Hariri is expected to lead, Geagea said.Two days after meeting Hariri, Geagea confirmed the LF was moving toward nominating Hariri as premier again.Geagea said wiping out corruption in government was the most important step toward fixing Lebanon's finances.Aoun will chair the Cabinet meeting at Baabda Palace that will discuss a 59-item agenda, including items that were not addressed during Wednesday's session, an official statement said Friday.
