Ain al-Tineh, the residence of outgoing Speaker Nabih Berri, witnessed a flurry of visitors Tuesday, a day before newly elected MPs will gather to elect a new speaker, deputy speaker and other members of the secretariat.MPs-elect Ibrahim Kanaan, Alain Aoun and Elias Bou Saab, representing the Free Patriotic Movement's Strong Lebanon parliamentary bloc, informed Berri that the bloc would take a final decision regarding who its members will support for speaker and deputy speaker during a meeting in the afternoon. Berri is expected to be reelected as a speaker, but it remains unclear who will be elected for the deputy speaker post.
