Politicians Wednesday laid wreaths on the graves of "men of independence" across Lebanon to mark 75 years of Lebanese independence, the state-run National News Agency reported.Caretaker Justice Minister Salim Jreissati laid a wreath on the grave of former Prime Minister Riyad al-Solh in Ouzai. Solh was Lebanon's first prime minister after the country won independence from the French Mandate in 1943 .Caretaker Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk honored former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri by placing a wreath on his resting place in Martyrs' Square.
