Free Patriotic Movement leader Gebran Bassil Friday cautioned against raising the hopes of the Lebanese people with promises of imminent government formation, after Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri said a new government could be formed in the coming days.Five months into Hariri's efforts to form a government, the premier-designate said on a talk show late Thursday night that a Cabinet could be formed within 10 days.Bassil welcomed Hariri's enthusiastic tone, saying he wished the government could be formed in the "next two days". Hariri has long been committed to forming such a government. While denying that the FPM was intervening or obstructing the formation process, Bassil offered his party's recommendations for a 30-member Cabinet breakdown.
