A Lebanese Forces delegation visited the Sidon town of Mieh Mieh Tuesday to address local tensions in the wake of deadly clashes that broke out in the Palestinian refugee camp next to the town.Caretaker Information Minister Melhem Riachi led the delegation that met with local and religious officials two weeks after the clashes first erupted and caused fear and panic to spread among residents of the refugee camp and the neighboring town.Riachi said that President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri, the Lebanese Army, as well as the Justice, Interior and Defense ministries had a shared responsibility for the safety of Mieh Mieh's residents.Riachi's visit comes after separate delegations from the Free Patriotic Movement and Kataeb Party went to the town last week, voicing solidarity with the local residents.
