Hamadeh, who represents the Progressive Socialist Party in the caretaker government, was accused of making a politically motivated decision, something he denied in comments Saturday."What happened is not a dismissal; rather it was a reallocation of responsibilities with full respect for sectarian considerations and balances," Hamadeh was quoted as saying by the PSP-affiliated news outlet. He said that it was his right as education minister to make changes to department heads within the ministry.
