Lebanese officials said Saturday that a livestock carrier heading to Lebanon will not dock at the Port of Beirut and is now empty, after Turkish media reports said the ship was carrying cattle infected with anthrax.Turkish news website Sozcu had reported that the Rahmeh carrier, which raises the flag of Panama, left the Turkish port of Bandirma and is expected to arrive at the Port of Beirut Sunday afternoon, amid fears that anthrax-infected cattle would be docking at the port.Khattar said the carrier will arrive at the Port of Beirut empty, and will only change its crew, according to NNA.
