The Hotels Cell, which comprises 20 members some of whom are still at large was responsible for the 2014 explosion in Raouche's Duroy Hotel and was allegedly set to carry out suicide attacks in several other Beirut hotels as well.The second attack was assigned to two Saudi nationals: Abdel-Rahman Naser al-Shenefi and his partner, Ali al-Thuwayne.However, Thuwayne blew himself up, also wounding Shenefi, during a June 25 raid by General Security at the Duroy Hotel.Boushran and Shenefi, along with the other members of the Hotels Cell, are being tried for planning the two suicide attacks, as well as for belonging to Daesh (ISIS).
