Health Minister Jamil Jabak Saturday assured residents of Tripoli's Bab al-Tabbaneh neighborhood that the government's planned austerity measures would not affect the citizen's right to health care, even in marginalized communities.Members of the World Health Organization and UNICEF joined the minister on the tour, as part of the beginning of World Immunization Week 2019 .Since his nomination as health minister on Jan. 31, Jabak has been spending his weekends visiting medical centers across Lebanon to assess the standards of health care and identify areas in need of reform.
