With limited green spaces in Beirut, it can be difficult to catch some sun in the city, have a picnic with family and friends or play catch with a dog outdoors. But with summer just around the corner, founder of Mindwhisk events Roula Mezher hopes to solve this problem for the people of Beirut and Lebanon through two upcoming events, Wooffest and City Picnic. The third edition of Wooffest will create a space for canine companions to mix and mingle, swim, get pampered at a dog spa and partake in beauty contests.Limited in Beirut are spaces for people to have picnics and lounge in the outdoors. After three years of success, City Picnic is celebrating its fourth and final farewell edition. Mezher said she was bidding farewell to City Picnic to make way for new ideas and events to come to fruition.
