Parliament's Higher Education Committee Tuesday approved a proposal designed to make ongoing education compulsory for nurses.According to Traboulsi, the current system, in which each hospital has a specialization, means that nurses are often not exposed to all the necessary aspects of their trade.The session was chaired by Sidon MP Bahia Hariri and attended by caretaker Education Minister Marwan Hamadeh, as well as MPs Mohammad Nasrallah, Mohammad Hajjar, Abdel-Rahim Mrad, Ali Fayyad and Antoine Habchi.
