In the hearing, Itani's first as a plaintiff before Beirut's public prosecutor, the actor described the 100-odd days he spent under arrest before his release in March 2018 .Itani filed the case against Hajj Hobeiche, Ghabash and State Security earlier this year, according to a judicial source.Itani called for politics to be kept "far away" from the trial, adding that he was shocked by the controversial intervention by Peter Germanos, the Military Tribunal's top prosecutor, who recommended that Hajj Hobeiche be acquitted.There may be another hearing or further summons based on Thursday's evidence, Itani said.
