Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri brought together representatives from the Progressive Socialist Party and Hezbollah Sunday, after PSP head Walid Joumblatt had challenged what many, including Hezbollah, view as Lebanon's right to sovereignty in the Israeli-occupied Shebaa Farms. Industry Minister Wael Abu Faour and former Minister Ghazi Aridi represented the PSP in a meeting with Hussein Khalil, a political aide to Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, and Wafiq Safa, a senior Hezbollah official.The Druze leader, who is known for changing his positions on major political issues, has declared that the Shebaa Farms are Lebanese in the past on multiple occasions.
