Residents of Mansourieh have blocked the road to Beit Mery in protest over the installation of high-voltage power lines, the state-run National News Agency reported Wednesday.A scuffle broke out Tuesday between security forces and residents of Mansourieh over the installation of the high-voltage power lines, leading to condemnation from the Maronite Church. Installation of the power lines was meant to begin Tuesday, but work was temporarily stopped after Mansourieh residents marched in protest to one of the two installation sites, located within private property.
