In a previous version of this story, the title misattributed a quote about Israeli concessions proving Lebanon's "right" to its demands. Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri did not say this; it was MP Ali Bazzi, speaking on behalf of Berri's parliamentary bloc. The Daily Star regrets the error.
