Dense networks within sectors can profoundly increase the overall capacity of the sector and consequently increase its productivity, efficiency and capacity to grow.It grows when its network is bigger and it consolidates when it's network is denser.Transactions within the network of a specific sector can be measured by the speed and spread of information sharing among its members. If sectoral organizations and individuals have physical and virtual spaces to share information, managed by democratic rules of professionalism and conduct, the social capital of the sector will be able to grow and enhance the growth of all its members. If information is widely and rapidly shared among members of a specific sector or network, its chances of adapting to change and innovation will increase.
