Summary
A Mount Lebanon criminal court headed by Judge Elie Helou sentenced the man, earlier identified as Fadi Aa., to life in prison for killing his ex-wife in what he claimed was retribution for adultery.
The body of the victim, who was born in 1995, was found covered with sand, rocks and rubbish on Jan. 11, 2018, on the Rmeileh beach.
In interrogations, the perpetrator recounted that he took the victim on a car ride on the seaside road from Beirut to Sidon, with both drinking beer and vodka.
The perpetrator had confessed in front of the Mount Lebanon judge in January last year to killing his ex-wife.
