A Mount Lebanon criminal court headed by Judge Elie Helou sentenced the man, earlier identified as Fadi Aa., to life in prison for killing his ex-wife in what he claimed was retribution for adultery.The body of the victim, who was born in 1995, was found covered with sand, rocks and rubbish on Jan. 11, 2018, on the Rmeileh beach."I then read the Fatiha [Quranic sura] and asked God to forgive her for her sins," he told the judge in 2018 .The perpetrator confessed to killing his ex-wife in front of the Mount Lebanon judge in January 2018 .
