BEIRUT: The Military Prosecutor General charged Friday three Lebanese men with allegedly smuggling weapons and drugs outside the country, a source told The Daily Star.
Three Lebanese men, Wasim Tamim, Samir Tamim, and Ahmad Qabri were charged with allegedly smuggling weapons and drugs outside the country through one of its ports.
According to the source, the Military Prosecutor General referred the accused to Acting Military Investigative Judge Fadi Sawan and called for interrogating them and issuing arrest warrants in their name.
It was discovered that the weapons were on their way to Syria, the source said.
