Lebanese man jailed for public sex in Dubai

BEIRUT: A 21-year-old Lebanese waiter has been jailed for an inappropriate display of affection after having consensual sex with his Filipino girlfriend on a public beach in the United Arab Emirates, Gulf News reported Friday.

The Dubai Misdemeanor Court Thursday sentenced the Lebanese man, known as A.B., and his 30-year-old girlfriend, M.B., each to one month in jail.

The couple was refused bail after last week admitting in court that the police caught them hugging, kissing and engaging in consensual sex.
