Man badly beaten in south Beirut

BEIRUT: A man was hospitalized after allegedly being beaten by Hezbollah members Wednesday night in Beirut’s southern suburbs, security sources told The Daily Star.

Samir Mubarak, who lives in Hezbollah’s stronghold in the capital’s southern suburbs, was transferred to a hospital in the area.

Sources said that the doctor who treated Mubarak said the victim’s injuries to his chest, arms, shoulders and legs were inflicted with a sharp tool.

No further information was obtained regarding the man’s age or the motivation behind the attack.

Wasn't this the man that was actually beaten in Achrafieh, Beirut, by 2 of Nadime Gemayel's security personnel? It was on the news and the victim explained the whole story. Or this could be a different incident.
