BEIRUT: A 20-year-old man was struck by a car and killed Monday while crossing a highway in Dora, Beirut, police said.
They said Charbel Matta died at the scene shortly before 8:00 a.m. when he was apparently crossing the thoroughfare under the Dora overpass when the car hit him.
The body was taken to Saint Joseph hospital in Dora.
