BEIRUT: Lebanon’s ambassador to the U.S. Antoine Chedid will join a forum focusing on business opportunities in the Middle East following recent changes in the Arab world, a U.S.-based newspaper reported over the weekend.
Lebanon, joined by Bahrain, Morocco, Oman and Tunisia, will be visiting Salt Lake City on July 15 to help Utah business owners understand how to take advantage of the changes occurring in Arab countries.
The ambassadors will reportedly offer tips on navigating the changing political landscapes and explaining the new markets available to foreign companies.
Tunisia was the first country in the region to see a political uprising that led to the overthrow of the government and Bahrain also saw a rise of an opposition.
