BEIRUT: The Military Tribunal handed down a two-year sentence to an individual Thursday for collaborating with Israel.
The tribunal’s head, Judge Nizar Khalil, sentenced Mahdi Yassin to two years behind bars for contacting Israeli authorities and providing them with information about officials from Hezbollah and other parties.
The tribunal also gave sentences ranging from one to seven years to a group of seven Palestinians for a variety of felony charges including thefts and terrorist acts.
