BEIRUT: Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah will deliver a speech Friday on the occasion of the party’s martyrs’ day.
A statement issued by Hezbollah’s office said a rally will be held for the occasion at 3 p.m. Friday at Mujamaa Sayyed al-Shuhada in Haret Hreik in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
The statement did not say what topics Nasrallah would cover. Media reports, however, said Wednesday that Nasrallah is expected to tackle the issue of financing the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, the situation in Syria and the latest developments in the region, particularly in light of tensions between the U.S. and Iran.
