BEIRUT: Brazil’s Vice-President Michel Temer arrives Friday evening in Beirut as part of a five-day official visit.
During his stay Temer will meet with the country’s top three leaders and visit the village of Btaaboura in Koura, from where his family originates, Sunday.
He will also participate in the official opening ceremony of the Brazil-Lebanon Cultural Center in Ashrafieh Friday and in a ceremony of flower-laying in Martyrs Square in Downtown Beirut Saturday morning and attend a military parade on Independence Day.
