BEIRUT: Three people were killed and another seriously injured over the weekend in a one-car accident on the main road between the Western Bekaa villages of Jib Jennin and Ghazzeh, the National News Agency reported.

According to the NNA, Saturday’s rainstorm in Western Bekaa caused a Honda Jeep to slide off the main road between Ghazzeh and Jib Jennin and roll over several times before finally settling in a field on the side of the road.

The crash resulted in the death of three people, Mohammad al-Someili, Ali Mansour, and Nabil al-Someili. Another passenger, Bilal Zeina sustained serious injuries and was transferred to the emergency room in Farhat Hospital in Jib Jennin.
