Dozens block road over harsh power rationing

BEIRUT: Dozens of people blocked the main road between Nabatieh and Doueir with burning tires for the second time in 48 hours in protest against harsh power rationing and random power cuts, the National News Agency reported Sunday.

Dozens of residents of Nabatieh towns and villages held a demonstration at Nabatieh-Doueir intersection, chanting against Electricite Du Liban and favoritism in distributing power.
