Lebanese woman found raped, murdered

BEIRUT: The body of a 28-year-old Lebanese woman who was raped before she was killed was found Tuesday in the woods of Sahel Alma near Jounieh, north of Beirut, a security source said.

The source said the woman was found covered in blood, naked from the waist down.

A Syrian national working as a janitor at a monastery some 600 meters away from where the body was found has been arrested on suspicion of carrying out the murder.

This is what happens when they hire cheaper foreigner janitors... :S WHY don't we pay more and hire Lebanese, but be safe? this is heartbreaking!

So bad, in fact when human is far from the connectivity to God everything can be done because he/she will no more listen to the voice of God. This person has violated physically the girl and killed her, that is too bad. Others violate verbally their own children/employees etc... and kill their self-esteem or .. or... so be prudent to what you say to your children since they are the most vulnerable. My she rest close the Love of God.

Dear TDS, Why does this story still appear in the popup corner on the lower right of my browser? Although it has a catchy title but: 1. It's 10 days old now 2. Investigations showed that she was not raped. Practice ethical journalism guys.
