BEIRUT: The bodies of two men who had been shot in the head were found in separate areas north of Beirut early Friday, a security source said.
The source identified the victims as Albert Ramez al-Nashar, 52, and Shaker Saeed Abdul Nour, 48.
Nashar’s body, which was discovered under the Antelias overpass north of Beirut, was taken to Haroun hospital, the source said.
Abdul Nour’s body was found near a marble factory in the Sin al-Fil area, around 7 kilometers away.
Preliminary investigation showed that Abdul Nour, whose body was taken to the Lebanese Canadian hospital, was killed after his taxi was stolen.
Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances behind the deaths, including a possible link.
