BEIRUT: Military Prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr Monday charged a Lebanese citizen for collaborating with Israel and entering the Jewish state.
Salam Ishaq was accused of providing Israel with information about various locations of Hezbollah and Lebanese Army positions.
If proven guilty, Ishaq could face the death penalty based on Lebanon’s penal code.
Ishaq’s case has been transferred to the military investigation judge who will question him and issue an arrest warrant against him.
