Army detonates hand grenade found in Beirut

BEIRUT: A Lebanese Army bomb disposal unit detonated Friday a hand grenade found near a bridge in Beirut.

A Lebanese Army statement said the grenade, found on the Fouad Shehab overpass in Downtown Beirut, was detonated where it was found “because moving it would have been dangerous.”
