Thieves steal French peacekeepers’ GPS device

BEIRUT: The Global Positioning System device of a UNIFIL contingent was stolen Thursday night by unidentified persons who fled in a vehicle. The French contingent was in the southern village of Tiri, the French peacekeepers’ headquarters, when the theft occurred. The Lebanese Army took the testimonies of the soldiers.
