Three killed in separate road incidents across Lebanon

 

BEIRUT: Three people died in separate road incidents over the weekend, security sources told The Daily Star.
 
A woman died Saturday when her car skidded off a road and fell into a valley in Koura, north Lebanon.
 
Hala Antoine al-Ghazal was driving a blue Cleo on the Kfar Hazir road when her car skidded off the path and fell into the valley, the sources said, adding that the woman died instantly. 
 
Ghazal hailed from Ghazir, Kesrouan. 
 
In a separate road incident in Beirut, Salem Ismail Qindil, 38, was killed after he was run over by a vehicle on the airport road.
Police have launched an probe to determine the identity of the vehicle and driver involved in the incident. 
 
Meanwhile in Mount Lebanon, a truck collided with a moped in Shoueifat, killing its driver – Mohammad al-Naser al-Arab. Arab died instantly. 
 
The truck fled the scene of the incident and an investigation has been launched to identify the culprits in the case.
