BEIRUT: A man shot and killed his mother Thursday before turning the gun against himself, according to the National News Agency. Moufid Abu Jaoude used a hunting rifle to shoot his mother, Meliva Mousasai, who died instantly, the NNA said. Abu Jaoude then shot himself. The motivation for crime is not known and police are investigating the case.
