BEIRUT: A speeding BMW rammed into several parked cars early Wednesday morning before crashing into an electric pole in Mkalles, north of Beirut. The driver was killed and two companions were wounded.
Security sources said Srour Mohammad Saleh was pronounced dead at the scene on the Zouk Mosbeh-Mkalles highway following the 4 a.m. accident.
The other casualties were identified as Mahmoud Arbas and Adnan Mahmoud.
They were taken to Our Lady of Lebanon Hospital in Jounieh, where Mahmoud’s condition was described as “grave.”
