Rocket detonator found near Aley, robbery in Kesrouan

BEIRUT: Military bomb-disposal experts disabled a rocket detonator found Monday in a valley near Aley, Mount Lebanon.

Police launched an investigation to determine the circumstances behind the incident.

Separately, an armed robbery took place at a construction site in the Kesrouan town of Ballouneh, near Mar Elias church.

Thieves pilfered LL 25 million worth of industrial and electrical appliances.

Police are in pursuit of the robbers after the construction site watchman provided their descriptions.
