BEIRUT: Response teams put out Monday a fire that broke out at a rooftop restaurant in ABC mall, Ashrafieh, Beirut. There were no reported injuries.

The restaurant, Leila, said in a statement that technical reasons in the kitchen area had been responsible for the fire.

“The management would like to clarify that the incident occurred as a result technical reasons inside the kitchen and it has been controlled without leading to physical injuries to the exterior of the restaurant,” the statement said.

“The restaurant will reopen to customers in the next couple of days,” the statement added.
