BEIRUT: MP Ali Fayyad, a member of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc, lambasted "those who call on the resistance to revise its stances," according to the National News Agency.
Fayyad advised Hezbollah's detractors to instead revise their own "behavior, gambles, positions, and experiences, which have thrust the country into a bind the past few years."
Fayyad's comments came during a Hezbollah-sponsored commemoration of several of its martyrs, including former Secretary-General Abbas Musawi, in Tuffahta, south Lebanon.
Fayyad also addressed the ongoing political crisis in the country, denying that there is a conflict between Sunnis and Shiites over constitutional priveleges, and maintaining that differences are purely political in nature.
