BEIRUT: A Lebanese expatriate was killed Monday after his private plane crashed in Ivory Coast, the state-run National News Agency reported.
Nadi al-Rayyes, a Lebanese expat who resides in Ivory Coast and owns two newspapers there, died after his plane crashed in a forest area, the agency said.
The search for Rayyes, who hails from the southern town of Jezzine and has two children, took several hours, the agency added.
