BEIRUT: A fire that broke out at a shoe factory in Sad-Boushrieh, northeast of Beirut, Wednesday, has been contained.
Security sources told The Daily Star that the owner of the factory, Michel Daher, suffered a heart attack as he watched fire crews douse the blaze that broke out on the third floor of his business.
They said a woman at the factory was transported to hospital and is being treated for smoke inhalation.
