Electricity cables stolen in Dinnieh

BEIRUT: Around 6,000 meters of electricity cable were stolen in rural Dinnieh, the National News Agency said Monday. Power was “completely” out overnight Sunday in the area of Nimrin, the NNA said. The theft of electricity cables has picked up in recent years, as thieves sell the copper contained in the item on the black market.
