BEIRUT: Lebanon experienced mild effects Monday from an earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale with its epicenter at the Greek island of Rhodes.
The epicenter of the earthquake was at a point in the Greek island of Rhodes, some 800 kilometers from the Lebanese coast according to the Behannes Center for Seismic and Scientific Research.
The quake was felt at 4.55 p.m.
There were no reports of damages or injuries in Lebanon.
